Faith
The bible say that we have been given the measure of faith Romans 12:3, not the natural faith that rely on the 5 sense, nose what we smell, eyes what we see, touch what we feel, ears what we hearing, or what we taste, this is the Thomas kind of faith, I believe when I see, but supernatural faith is the God kind of faith, you don't have to see it first you just believe it is already done in the spiritual realm & manifests in the natural realm Mark 11:23-24
Matthew 17:20 said if we had the faith the size of a mustard sees we can say to he mountain to be removed to yonder place & will be removed & nothing shall be impossible unto you, it is exercising the measure of God given faith we have been given and building up our most Holy Faith Jude 1:20
Ephesians 1:3-23
I pray that God, will give us the spirit of wisdom & revelation in the knowledge of Him, the eyes of our understanding being enlightening (our spiritual eyes), that we may know the hope of His calling that He has called us, & what the exceeding greatness of His power to us who BELIEVE (resurrection power), & what are the riches of the glory of the INHERITANCE OF THE SAINTS (you and me)
YOU BELIEVE OR YOU DON'T

Resolved! No Recession of Faith by David Authur
Will the recession in the economy produce a
"recession" in our faith in God? To answer, let's
remind ourselves of some unchanging facts:
- The recession cannot reverse the fact
that God is God
- The recession cannot reverse the fact
that you are "crucified with Christ
(Gal. 2:20)
- The recession cannot reverse the fact
that "Christ lives in" you- and that you
can live "by Faith in the Son of God"
who love you and gave Himself for you
- The recession cannot stop God from
supplying "all you needs according to
His riches in glory in Christ Jesus (Phil.
4:19) as you help expand His Kingdom
The church of Macedonia were in economic difficulty
They were in a great ordeal of affliction and deep poverty (2 Corinthians 8:3)
Yet they did something that was not normal by world's fear-base standards
"According to their ability, & beyond their ability
they gave (2 Cor. 8:3) What? Gave? In recession?
Yes they did
In fact, they gave generously, begging with much urging for the favor
of participation in the support of the saints (v.4). They begged Paul to let them give more
than he asked (v.3)
The key to their generosity was that they first gave themselves
to the Lord (v.5)
By their giving, they spit in the eye of their financial difficulties.
No "recession" of faith for them! Their God-His promises, His Kingdom was bigger.
May it be so with us.

Water In A Dry And Desert Place
Psalms 33:12-22.
Psalm 33:12-22 (New Living Translation)
12 What joy for the nation whose God is the Lord, whose people he has chosen as his inheritance.
13 The Lord looks down from heaven and sees the whole human race. 14 From his throne he observes all who live on the earth. 15 He made their hearts, so he understands everything they do. 16 The best-equipped army cannot save a king, nor is great strength enough to save a warrior. 17 Don’t count on your warhorse to give you victory— for all its strength, it cannot save you.
18 But the Lord watches over those who fear him, those who rely on his unfailing love. 19 He rescues them from death and keeps them alive in times of famine.
20 We put our hope in the Lord. He is our help and our shield. 21 In him our hearts rejoice, for we trust in his holy name. 22 Let your unfailing love surround us, Lord, for our hope is in you alone.
To me it was an Oasis in the desert, it stilled my mind, brought encouragement and reminded me of the promises of God. On the highways after so many miles there is a rest stop where people can stop and be refreshed, in the plan of God I think there are rest stops in the desert and dry places where we can rest and gain strength, get direction, and nourishment to go the distance. In the desert God's Spirit and God's Word are a must:
John 7:38 He that believeth on me, as the scripture hath said, out of his belly shall flow rivers of living water.
Luke 4:4And Jesus answered him, saying, It is written, That man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word of God.

CALL TO FAST
Isaiah 58
1CRY ALOUD, spare not. Lift up your voice like a trumpet and declare to My people their transgression and to the house of Jacob their sins!
2Yet they seek, inquire for, and require Me daily and delight [externally] to know My ways, as [if they were in reality] a nation that did righteousness and forsook not the ordinance of their God. They ask of Me righteous judgments, they delight to draw near to God [in visible ways].
3Why have we fasted, they say, and You do not see it? Why have we afflicted ourselves, and You take no knowledge [of it]? Behold [O Israel], on the day of your fast [when you should be grieving for your sins], you find profit in your business, and [instead of stopping all work, as the law implies you and your workmen should do] you extort from your hired servants a full amount of labor.(A)
4[The facts are that] you fast only for strife and debate and to smite with the fist of wickedness. Fasting as you do today will not cause your voice to be heard on high.
5Is such a fast as yours what I have chosen, a day for a man to humble himself with sorrow in his soul? [Is true fasting merely mechanical?] Is it only to bow down his head like a bulrush and to spread sackcloth and ashes under him [to indicate a condition of heart that he does not have]? Will you call this a fast and an acceptable day to the Lord?
6[Rather] is not this the fast that I have chosen: to loose the bonds of wickedness, to undo the bands of the yoke, to let the oppressed go free, and that you break every [enslaving] yoke?(B)
7Is it not to divide your bread with the hungry and bring the homeless poor into your house--when you see the naked, that you cover him, and that you hide not yourself from [the needs of] your own flesh and blood?
8Then shall your light break forth like the morning, and your healing (your restoration and the power of a new life) shall spring forth speedily; your righteousness (your rightness, your justice, and your right relationship with God) shall go before you [conducting you to peace and prosperity], and the glory of the Lord shall be your rear guard.(C)
9Then you shall call, and the Lord will answer; you shall cry, and He will say, Here I am. If you take away from your midst yokes of oppression [wherever you find them], the finger pointed in scorn [toward the oppressed or the godly], and every form of false, harsh, unjust, and wicked speaking,(D)
10And if you pour out that with which you sustain your own life for the hungry and satisfy the need of the afflicted, then shall your light rise in darkness, and your obscurity and gloom become like the noonday.
11And the Lord shall guide you continually and satisfy you in drought and in dry places and make strong your bones. And you shall be like a watered garden and like a spring of water whose waters fail not.
12And your ancient ruins shall be rebuilt; you shall raise up the foundations of [buildings that have laid waste for] many generations; and you shall be called Repairer of the Breach, Restorer of Streets to Dwell In.
13If you turn away your foot from [traveling unduly on] the Sabbath, from doing your own pleasure on My holy day, and call the Sabbath a [spiritual] delight, the holy day of the Lord honorable, and honor Him and it, not going your own way or seeking or finding your own pleasure or speaking with your own [idle] words,
14Then will you delight yourself in the Lord, and I will make you to ride on the high places of the earth, and I will feed you with the heritage [promised for you] of Jacob your father; for the mouth of the Lord has spoken it.(E)

NOURISHMENT FOR ENCOURADEMENT
7 Casting the whole of your care [all your anxieties, all your worries, all your concerns, once and for all] on Him, for He cares for you affectionately and cares about you watchfully.
Psalm 55:22 (Amplified Bible)
22 Cast your burden on the Lord [releasing the weight of it] and He will sustain you; He will never allow the [consistently] righteous to be moved (made to slip, fall, or fail).
- RELEASING: to give up in favor of another : relinquish: to give over possession or control of
- SUSTAIN: to supply with sustenance, : to carry or withstand (a weight or pressure)
Isaiah 41:10 (Amplified Bible)
10 Fear not [there is nothing to fear], for I am with you; do not look around you in terror and be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen and harden you to difficulties, yes, I will help you; yes, I will hold you up and retain you with My [victorious] right hand of rightness and justice
- FEAR: is the most general term and implies anxiety and usually loss of courage
. dread usually adds the idea of intense reluctance to face or meet a person or situation and suggests aversion as well as anxiety - DISMAY: implies that one is disconcerted and at a loss as to how to deal with something: sudden loss of courage or resolution from alarm or fear : sudden disappointment
Isaiah 43:1-2 (Amplified Bible)
Isaiah 43 1BUT NOW [in spite of past judgments for Israel's sins], thus says the Lord, He Who created you, O Jacob, and He Who formed you, O Israel: Fear not, for I have redeemed you [ransomed you by paying a price instead of leaving you captives]; I have called you by your name; you are Mine.
2When you pass through the waters, I will be with you, and through the rivers, they will not overwhelm you. When you walk through the fire, you will not be burned or scorched, nor will the flame kindle upon you.
Hebrews 13:5-6 (Amplified Bible)
5 Let your character or moral disposition be free from love of money [including greed, avarice, lust, and craving for earthly possessions] and be satisfied with your present [circumstances and with what you have]; for He [God] Himself has said, I will not in any way fail you nor give you up nor leave you without support. [I will] not, [I will] not, [I will] not in any degree leave you helpless nor forsake nor let [you] down (relax My hold on you)! [Assuredly not!]
6 So we take comfort and are encouraged and confidently and boldly say, The Lord is my Helper; I will not be seized with alarm [I will not fear or dread or be terrified]. What can man do to me?
Sometime I just like to hear what God is saying during time of fasting and prayer. He is calling us to remember what he said in His word because His word brings comfort, encouragement, strength, hope, and faith. When we are trusting in His word, we are trusting in His Character & integrity
GOD INTEGRITY
Hebrews 6:17-19 (Amplified Bible)
17 Accordingly God also, in His desire to show more convincingly and beyond doubt to those who were to inherit the promise the unchangeableness of His purpose and plan, intervened (mediated) with an oath.
18 This was so that, by two unchangeable things [His promise and His oath] in which it is impossible for God ever to prove false or deceive us, we who have fled [to Him] for refuge might have mighty indwelling strength and strong encouragement to grasp and hold fast the hope appointed for us and set before [us].
19 [Now] we have this [hope] as a sure and steadfast anchor of the soul [it cannot slip and it cannot [a]break down under whoever steps out upon it--a hope] that reaches [b]farther and enters into [the very certainty of the Presence] within the veil,(A)
God can not lie, deceive us, or even prove false
Just some nourishment for encouragement

What's in us
Galatians 5:24-25 (New Living Translation)
24 Those who belong to Christ Jesus have nailed the passions and desires of their sinful nature to his cross and crucified them there. 25 Since we are living by the Spirit, let us follow the Spirit’s leading in every part of our lives.
